Community Design Guidelines
In order to maintain unique characters of many diverse communities, the Riverside County Planning Department has developed community specific design guidelines for several Riverside County communities. To ensure consistency in their implementation, the Planning Department has developed Logo Style Guides for these design guidelines.

The aim of this document is to promote positive and enriching development by assuring that it aspires to a greater architectural and urban design standard, by not expounding just a superficial style or surface appearance (picket fences and traditional architecture) but promoting the fundamental principles like orienting and opening to the street and promoting a healthy balance between private and public life.

"The Temecula Valley Wine Country Design Guidelines" is a critical component of the community plan. The design guidelines will ensure the necessary guidance toward accomplishing a common vision for this unique community. The Design Guidelines include appendixes for the Rancho California Road and De Portola Road streetscape design and signage program adopted on December 2010 and modified on December 03, 2013.

Community Vision and Concept Plans
Community Vision and Concept Plans are documents developed in conjunction with local communities in order determine the current and future needs of a community. Once these plans are created, they are used to develop implementing policy documents, design guidelines, and/or ordinances.
