FEIR No. 548 (Housing Element) - Public Hearing before the Planning Commission
The Final Environmental Impact Review No. 548 has been compiled and includes responses to the comments received during the comment period. A Public Hearing before the Planning Commission will be held on August 3, 2016 at 9:00 AM at the City of Perris City Council Chambers.

DEIR No. 548 (Housing Element) - Comment Period
Please note that the public comment period for Draft EIR No. 548 is April 14, 2016 to May 30, 2016. All comments must be submitted in writing to Mr. William Gayk, Project Manager, at the address indicated below, and must be received no later than 5:00 pm on May 30, 2016. Comments received late (after May 30, 2016), pursuant to state law, may not be considered. All comments should be written and directed to either the U.S. mail address or the email address, below.
DEIR No. 548 (Housing Element) - Project Information
The action evaluated by the Draft EIR is the adoption GPA No. 1122 and CZ No. 7902, which will update the County’s General Plan and Land Use Ordinance No. 348 to guide anticipated growth in accordance with the State’s and County’s housing objectives.
The Riverside County General Plan serves as a blueprint for Riverside County’s future. GPA No. 1122 proposes to update the Riverside County General Plan Housing Element, as well as minor updates to related elements, in order to maintain consistency between the updated Housing Element and the General Plan. The Project will revise existing General Plan policies, maps, and implementing directions, and provide new information and policies where needed.
