PROJECT INFORMATION

Project Summary: The County of Riverside Planning Department will serve as the Lead Agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and will coordinate the public review of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) that will evaluate the potential significant environmental impacts that may result from the proposed project. Cal Therma Real Estate, LLC (project proponent) is proposing to process the above referenced entitlement actions through Riverside County which proposes a Tract Map Schedule ‘A’ to subdivide 80 acres into 198 Residential Lots. General Plan Amendment proposes to change from Agriculture to Medium Density Residential, Conservation, and Commercial Retail. Change of Zone proposes to change from A-1-10 to Specific Plan.

 

Project Location: The property is located within the Eastern Coachella Valley Area Plan of the Riverside County General Plan, specifically located northerly of 61st Avenue, southerly of 60th Avenue, abutting the easterly boundary line of the City of La Quinta. APN: 764-290-003

Scoping Session for an EIR for Specific Plan No. 385 Amend. No. 1 – March 13, 2017

A Scoping Session for the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for Amendment No. 1 to the Vista Soledad Specific Plan (Specific Plan No. 385, General Plan Amendment No. 1212, Change of Zone No. 7925 and Tentative Tract Map 37192) will be held at the time and location noted below. The public scoping session will be held to accept comments from responsible agencies and the public about the scope and content of the EIR. Notices of Preparation have been distributed to applicable agencies, nearby cities, and surrounding property owners. The comment period for the Notice of Preparation is from March 13, 2017 to April 13, 2017.
